Take One! for Teachers and Principals from Title I Schools
The NU-PTDC manages a grant that provides funds specifically to teachers and principals in Title I schools who want to explore and experience the National Board Certification process by participating in ONE, pre selected National Board portfolio entries. ANY teacher or administrator is eligible. Take One! can be used as a stand-alone PD experience or in preparation to become a NBCT candidate. Video tape one 15 minute lesson segment that captures your instruction and interactions with classroom students and use the NBCT standards to analyze your effectiveness. NU-PTDC will provide support, online and on site. The grant provides $295 toward the $395 Take One! fee--you will only need to pay the $100 difference!

If you are ready to apply for Take One! and the Title I grant, follow these steps:
1. Download and complete the Take One Profile Sheet.
2. Email your completed profile sheet to Bonnie Miller.
3. Go to the NBPTs Take One page and:
