Accomplished Instructional Leaders--Join Our New Master's Cohort!
The Master of Science in Instructional Leadership at National University is designed for teachers seeking leadership roles within their schools, and may aspire to pursue an administrative role sometime during their career. In this degree program, you will take a combination of courses from both the Education Administration and Teacher Education departments. Upon completion of your studies, you will have developed the National Board Teacher Leadership portfolio in your subject and grade level and you’ll be prepared to assume a variety of leadership positions within your school and district. The schedule for this 10-course degree program is driven by NBC course alignment with portfolio submission dates set by the NBPTS. Your portfolio serves as your thesis/Capstone Project.
Join this cohort that is being developed exclusively for teachers interested in pursuing a Master of Science in Instructional Leadership NBC Cohort.
You have a choice of submitting the portfolio for scoring by the National Board, as desired (we align the NBCT submission dates to match your coursework). If you choose to submit your portfolio for scoring, NBCT will distinguish you as a teacher leader in the field of education.
Additional online and face-to-face support is available for active NBCT candidates, including those who do not require a master’s degree. As a member of the cohort, you are pre-approved to join My eCoach NBCT online support community for $35.
