2011-2012 NBCT Cycle Scholarship Information

Scholarships to support application fees for those who choose to participate as an active candidate in the National Board Certification process need to identify resources specific to each state.  States that have provided scholarship information are listed below:

California
Ohio

NUPTDC at this time has a limited number of scholarships toward fees for the National Board Take One! process to offer teachers and principals in Title I schools.  Candidates would receive $295 toward the $395 Take One! fee.  Individuals and/or districts would be responsible for the remaining $100.  The scholarships will be awarded from the PTDC, with priority to NU master's degree students (current or former) and teachers from Title I schools.  After that, awards are on a first-come, first-served basis.  To be eligible, candidates must attend a Splash Start Orientation, online or face-to-face.  To be considered, you must register for the scholarship by July 1.  Go to the Take One! registration page to become eligible.  Upon registration through the PTDC, you will be notified if you have been awarded one of the 200 scholarships available.
