Distinguished Preparation Pathway

The National Board Distinguished Preparation Pathway is an initiative designed by the National Board Certified Teachers and National University Faculty in the School of Education.  As you enter the profession, your program of study will define the requirements that you will have to meet to earn your first credential.  The NUPTDC offers you a VOLUNTARY, NO FEE opportunity to add a feature to your pre-service journey that may be attractive to employers and contribute to your effectiveness in your first days on the job.  Take a step NOW to become a future National Board Certified Teacher of America!

If you are interested in pursuing this distinction, visit our Distinguished Preparation Pathway page for an overview of the pathway and details of how you can participate.
